Description

Hi.
I want to better visualize on my charts when activity is picking up in an instrument or slowing down.
My suggestion is that the background grid could be adjusted to user-defined, equidistant intervalls.
That means if the user has a volume based chart and sets the grid e.g. on 5 min intervalls, then the grid-space expands if activity is picking up because per time intervall there are printed more bars. If activity is slowing down, then the grid space contracts because there are less bars.
If using time-based charts the principle is the same, although the visualization is a opposed to the example above:
E.g. using 5-min-chart and setting the grid e.g. to 1000 contracts. If the market is slow, the grid space would expand. If the market is fast the grid space would contract.
Thanks and Best Regards,
asyx
