Allow use of the tab key to input optimization values

Description

When entering optimization parameter values, it would be useful to be able to "tab over" to the next field to enter a new value. The current approach of "click to point" should be preserved. The user would have the option of using only the keyboard vs. keyboard and mouse.

Steps to reproduce this issue

When entering values for optimization parameters, the tab key does not seem to have any effect. The only way to move to a new field is to click it.
