Description
Hello,

A very useful feature is the one in MT4 software to measure price move and bars count between 2 points. Best way is to see it in a 2 minutes clip start at 50 sec. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8Z4DIu_zMc

Mouse center button click (or wheel button) to activate the functionality left click and hold drag the cursor and the cursor displays from origin to current cursor position the bars/price/price at the current cursor position

this is extremely handy

Thank you

You can use Trend Line drawing to display difference between 2 points in time, price and bar count. Other functionality has already been requested, please vote here: https://www.multicharts.com/pm/public/multicharts/issues/MC-195

Alex, sorry I don't know how to use the Trendline to get the difference between 2 points. Can you send me the link of Multicharts web page where they explain this functionality. I searched but the page I found does not mention this functionality. Thank you

You can see the information when you create the Trend Line, or if you left click on one of the Trend Line points: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5jd5MczYZOTRmRHUmZKMEJOdTg/view?usp=sharing

No, I do not have this data window for the TL, neither when I create it or click the anchors. Is it a preference setting somewhere that I do not know ? I am using MC64 version 10.0 Build 13.626.

There is no specific setting for that, it works this way by design. The hint is shown only when you have left mouse button pressed, when you release it, it disappears. In case it does not work this way, Please come to the Live Chat Mon-Fri from 6.30 AM to 1 PM EST to demonstrate the issue.

Thank you Alex, I will go to the chat room. I do not get the hint at all.

Best regards Pierre
