TC2000 feature (crosshair tracking shows span of bars on smaller bar size charts)

Go to the next issue (open or closed)
Go to the next open issue

TC2000 has a very nice cross hair feature (for the vertical line of the crosshair) where if the user is highlighting a larger bar size with the cross hair all the smaller bar sizes have the corresponding bars highlighted with a hazy white background so you know the set of bars that matches the cross hair on the larger bar size chart. You can download TC2000 for free to see this feature in action. So for example if the user is highlighting with the cross hair a weekly bar such as the one ending on Friday 2007/July/14 then the daily bar chart will have the hazy white background on the corresponding 5 bars of July 14th week (july: 10, 11,12,13,14). In the same fashion any smaller bar sizes would have this same type of background highlighting. The horizontal; hair line of the cross hair acts exactly the same as with MC.

At the same time if the user is highlighting the smaller bar size chart the larger bar size charts have the vertical crosshair tracking exactly as MC has it now (obviously this is the only way it can be in this situation).

This feature appears to already be implemented. Using MC 12, I can see that the charts can be linked so that the mouse/crosshairs can be seen moving across multiple charts that view the same period (time). I believe this feature request can be CLOSED.

Thanks WildEex. It certainly was not there in MC 11. If this is true then I guess I should move from MC 11 to MC 12 and see how it looks :-)

I am very surprised is has no votes because it is a great feature which I can't see anyone complaining about. That tells me that my suggestion to have various options to email new feature requests to people should be implemented so TS-Support can get a more realistic set of votes. What I am saying is most people are in the habit of looking at email but not looking at the bug tracker unless they submit something. If I got emails of all the new ideas I would click the link and read it and vote.
