Description

Now crypto market is growing really fast.
and more and more automated trading platforms support cryptocurrency exchange connections.

MC offers only Binance among the "major" crypto exchanges.
I think MC should add more crypto exchanges as brokers and data sources.

To prioritize crypto exchanges, coinmaketcap.com can be a reference. ( https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/markets/ )
and considering many MC users want to trade perpetual futures, the followings are the top priority except Binance.

  • Bybit
  • Huobi Global
  • FTX

during the recent big drop on the crypto market, Binance couldn't handle the data feed and the order properly because of the overload.
Bybit did it properly without lag, though i don't have the experience of Huobi and FTX.

in github we already have all source code in C++ to add all crypto exchange.

a good engineer can make them compatible with MC quickly ...

One other consideration for this project is that cryptocurrency exchange options are limited for US citizens considering Binance's API credentials now require additional identity verification.

A good option could be FTX.US as FTX proper does not allow US citizens to trade on the exchange either.

I strongly support this request. With the current regulatory crack down on Binance and Binance stopping futures trading in many countries MC needs at least two more CEX alternatives ASAP.

The deliberate orchestrated crackdown on Binance derivatives products has been woeful. Probably half my Binance futures trades were done via MC.

Two worthwhile (second best to Binance) substitutes from my investigation are FTX and KuCoin.

Kraken's been around for a while and may be developing a reputation (even an IPO in the next 24 months - newly stacked board) but still, it just hasn't got the volume. The two aforementioned CEX's do have great volume.

I think both KuCoin and FTX use the REST and Websocket API protocol.

US Traders really need options as Binance is a no go from the start, and Kraken had the same connectivity issues during the May 21 crash. Please do implement options for your clients! Thank you!

+1 to FTX - Which also seems to be the most commonly quoted exchange here from the above posts.

I strongly suggest to add FTX too as an Italian resident with Binance closing the door to us for futures trading we don't have any alternatives if we want to keep using multicharts.

Please Add FTX and more exchanges that supports perpetual Futures account.

Crypto market is growing too fast and you MUST give us the power to jump in it without the needs to change platform.

Thanks

Dear team,

We are anxiously waiting for the update to add additional exhange, especially with Future trading like FTX and Bybit to support data feeding and autotrading in MC. Binance is not supporting future trading. There is NO WAY for the MC users to trade with futures in MC!!!! The only way we work with algotrade is to leave MC, like Python. Please set priority to update the future data source. Thanks!

Binance futures had been banned in Spain as well.

One of the most liquid crypto exchanges for futures if FTX.

So I vote for FTX, but it would be great to have more exchanges like Huobi Global.

Also, as you already have the integration with Binance, and regulators are only banning derivatives (futures), you could implement margin trading in Binance, which is not banned in many countries and allow some leverage. (Binance basically has 3 types of trading: Spot, Margin and Futures. https://www.binance.com/en/blog/futures/crypto-spot-trading-vs-margin-trading--whats-the-difference-421499824684902286).

Bybit is a must for me, I've tried all the other exchanges and this is the easiest to use and trade with.
It's frustrating that Bybit use the multicharts/tradingview charts in their browser software but we can't access the feed with our stand alone MultiCharts software running our proprietary indicators.
Also frustrating that TradingView offers it, but again not in Multicharts.
Most of the work must have been done already?
Thanks.

Now that FTX is out of the question, an integration of ByBit and MEXC Global as quickly as possible would be highly desirable.

Dear Multicharts Product Development,
It's has been nearly three years since this request MC-2711 was opened and its status is "UNDER REVIEW". There hasn't been one additional CRYPTO exchange added.
Why?
Your product is mostly IRRELEVANT to CRYPTO traders unless one has a BINANCE account as this is the only CEX that has data and trading support in MC.

In relation to persons that purchase MC - you obviously know your market. Perhaps your clients are predominately FX and/or STOCK traders. The product is great for that - plenty of options in QUOTE MANAGER.

However there are clients that are sick of FX/STOCK trading that have flipped to CRYPTO and have come to your stand alone product MULTICHARTS (your other product TRADINGVIEW is also excellent). I want to program my systems and do analysis in my standalone MC product.

If you CANNOT provide ongoing support for the ever growing CRYPTO trader, then potential clients should know that you are selling a LEGACY PRODUCT.

Come on - please show a little consideration for clients and add a few more CRYPTO CEX's data and trading functionality to your good product . A little effort will beat having to counter a negative social media campaign.

Respectfully,
Dean

Please consider to add BYBIT crypto exchange, since is one of the few CEX with good trading volumes both for spot and futures.
