Thicker candlesticks?

I'm currently using StockCharts.com for online "quick and dirty" charting. I find their candlestick charts much easier to read than the MultiCharts candlesticks. I've attached screenshots for each that show about one year of MSFT daily bars for comparison.

If you look at the StockCharts candlesticks, you'll see that there's no whitespace between the individual candles -- i.e., the edge of one candle touches the other. In contrast, with the MultiCharts candlesticks, there appears to be about two pixels of whitespace between each bar. This results in the body of the individual MultiCharts candlesticks being much thinner.

This makes a real difference for my eye. The StockCharts candles tend to "pop out" since the bodies are thicker. It's also easy to distinguish between hollow candlesticks and filled candlesticks. In contrast, with the MultiCharts candles, the bodies are harder to view (since they're thinner), and it's very hard to distinguish between hollow and filled candlesticks.

I realize that this is largely a matter of personal preference. However, it would be great if this were an option that people could adjust.

On a similar manner, I tried very hard to get the line weights (such as for the moving averages and the RSI indicator) to match the StockCharts chart. Their lines appear to be two pixels in width.

With MultiCharts, the options for line weight appears to jump from one pixel to three pixels. This results in lines that are either too thin or too thick. E.g., in the MultiCharts screenshot, I set the line weights for the moving averages to three pixels (which look too thick), and the line weights for the RSI to the default one pixel (which looks too thin). Again, this is purely a matter of personal preference, but I would like to have the option of having a two-pixel line width. Thanks.
