Description

Semi-log scaling is wonderful for certain applications but cannot be applied to negatives currently. All that is required is on negative numbers apply the semi-log scaling to the absolute value THEN apply the negative. This would allow semi-log scaling on both positive and negative numbers. This would be very useful on indicators where the relation to zero is very important.

Steps to reproduce this issue

Try to plot an indicator with positive and negative values on semi-log scaling. Notice that the scaling is linear.
