Description

Currently in Multicharts 7.0 the only options available for chosing the Data Range to use for an instrument which will be used in a chart, and subsequently all studies and strategies applied to that chart, is either x bars or days back from a date or between one data and another.  This presents a problem if you use Tick charts, Point charts or any other type of chart that does not care about time.  With these charts it is not possible to use Multicharts for certain types of trading which need for example 2 days of data but a minimum of say 400 bars.  The only way this can be catered for now is manuaally check each chart each day to see if you have the minimum number of bars for your study or strategy with these types of bars.  This makes automated trading such strategies in Multicharts not possible with these chart types.
If we could have the feature where the Data Range of X date to Y date or Number of days back also included a box where you could insert the minimum number of bars of datato load for the chart it would be a big positive for these chart types.
