Description

I have managed to build custom futures few weeks ago combining ESU1 and ESZ1 contracts together during roll over period and it had worked great. But now when I connect to the combined contract it pends on "Establish connection ...". The reason as it seems to me is that openEcry removes accessability to past contracts after several weeks the contract ends so normal connection for retrieving historical data for past contracts is disabled. The previous contracts also disappears from the searching new symbols within multicharts. Since I had fully accumulated all the data of the previous contract ESU1 in multichart's cache during the time I had been working with that contract, I suppose that multicharts would utilize this cache and reconstruct the custom future using previous cached data and the online streaming of the currect contract. This functionality seems to not working.

Steps to reproduce this issue

ESU1 and ESZ1 contracts together using openEcry data feed.

Due to the fact that on plotting cutom futures MC still requests data from Data source, when data vendor doesn't return data for expired contracts it stick in "establishing connection...". We are currently thinking about possible resolution or at least workaround for this situation.

Thanks for the observation. Please note that there was no problem to load a previous expired contract into multichart but only when multchart configured with data server mode to offline.

When no data is available on server in online mode, MC can't build custom futures, because custom futures requires some daily data for rollover.
