Description

Feature Request:
Market Scanner is a great feature, and I do see that symbols can be sorted by the available column headings.
However, it would be great if one could custom sort the symbols in the list, similar, for example, to the sorting that is available on the main page of IB's TWS. This permits arranging symbols in user-defined groups. One can create headings and place symbols in groups such as Long Positions, Short Positions, Indices, Short Watch, Long Watch, etc. This enables one to quickly and easily focus on the group that's relevant at any given time.
Is this possible?

I now realize that the ability to create symbol groups is already present! Sorry!
I also see that one can cut, paste & delete witiln the Scanner window. Is it possible to insert and delete rows as well? (That would make maintenance of the ever-changing list much simpler.
Thank you.

Currently there is a workaround:
1. Right click on 1st of 2 instruments in Market Scanner -> Insert instrument. Add a new instrument between 2 existing ones.
2. Right click on the instrument that you have just added -> Clear Content.
