Description

In Tradestation you can work very efficiently with charts by using all the four arrow keys (zoom in and zoom out) - as well as page up and page down. For zooming in MC you need to go through cumbersome use of the mouse and interpret the icons before you click them (50% of the time - the wrong one). Currently the up and down arrow keys in MC move the chart up and down.

I suggest implement the same keyboard functionality in Multicharts as is available in Tradestation using arrows and page-up and - down keys in charting.

In Tradestation --- Click: View / Toolbars / Customize
Under Categories, goto Tools, scroll to ZOOM In or ZOOM Outand Click task button 'Hot Keys...' button.
In new dialog, click box under 'Press new Hot Key', then physically assign keys using kb,
they will appear in dialog box.  Click 'Assign' at bottom, conflict message may appear.
I used Ctlr + Shift + Z for Zoom In and Ctrl + Shift + X = Zoom Out without conflict.
Prost!
