Description

When setting Trend Lines, Equidistant Channels, and Fibonacci setups I experience that anchor points in snap mode does not attach to the actual highs and lows.
The behavior varies where it happens with both anchor points or just one of them. Another thing to note is that the line position with trend tools are changing dependent on if Extend is set to on or off.
In practical use with actual price I see inaccuracy as increasing with higher the time frame.
I have attached four pictures for illustration with different cenarios. I have also added comments in the pictures.
On note on the side: With other platforms I see that trend line tools have thinner lines with the standard lowest/thinnest weight. It would have been nice if MultiCharts also could make the standard thin line weight a bit thinner also.

Steps to reproduce this issue

Setup lines with both Trend Line, Equidistant Channel and Fibonacci Retracement tools in different cenarios with different time frames and completely different points in time. With the Trend Line and Equidistant Channel tools have the Format dialog boxes up while checking "Extend" right on and off. Without closing the dialog box one will see that the lines changes position/angle with the first anchor points as pivot point.

Regarding lowest/thinnest weight: in MC the lowest weight is 1 pixel.

Sorry for my late reply Andrew. And regarding the matter, again sorry. Off course you are right. The picture I had in my mind was from watching two other platforms with steep trend lines, which then was very thin. I know now it is the same with MC.

Thank you Andrew. Looking forward to the release.
