How can I use DecisionBar techniques with MultiCharts?

To learn how to use DecisionBar techniques with MultiCharts review the Decision Bar Online Tutorial (eSignal, NYSE).

DecisionBar techniques work fine both with the NASDAQ and NYSE data indices. The values will be slightly different, but the patterns are very similar. Here is the list of required symbols:

Note. Some datafeeds (TradeStation and some other) provide Advancing and Declining issues only separately (without "Advancing minus Declining" data). The setup for the Risk Oscillator for such datafeeds requires:
1. $ADV replaces $ADD for Data Number 4.
2. $DECL must be added to a chart and set to Data Number 5.
3. The "DecisionBar Longer Term Risk Oscillator ($ADV-$DECL)" indicator should be used instead of "DecisionBar Longer Term Risk Oscillator ($ADD)".
