Currency Conversion

There are several currency settings applied to different reports in MultiCharts:

1. Preferred Currency setting in Preferences is used for Order and Position Tracker PnL calculation and for displaying the PnL on a chart. When "None" is selected, the currency for the position PnL for the instrument sent by the broker through the API is displayed, if supported by the broker. And the currency selected in the instrument settings in QuoteManager is displayed, if the PnL is calculated in MultiCharts.
2. Currency selected for the Exchange in QuoteManager is used for Trading Performance Report (reflects all trades occurred at the broker).
3. Base Currency selected in Strategy Properties is used for calculation profit and loss of the strategy and for Strategy Performance Report (reflects only strategy trades).
   • The identical Base Currency for Portfolio Trader is selected on the Portfolio Settings tab and is used for calculation profit and loss of the strategies and for Strategy Performance Report.
