Note:MultiCharts license can be running in online mode only at one PC at a time. You can use your license on PC#2 in offline mode. In order to get real time data and trade you need to be authorized and run MultiCharts in online mode.

You can run your MultiCharts license in online mode only at one PC at a time. You can write your strategies and do backtesting in offline mode using your locally stored data on PC#2. Here is how to do that:

  1. You need to login to MultiCharts with your registration name and code on PC#2 first
  2. Switch MultiCharts to offline mode (MultiCharts -> File tab->Preferences->Data server mode-> Offline)
  3. Disable Internet connection on this PC
  4. Now you can start MultiCharts on PC#1 in online mode.
Note:While logging in on PC#2 you will receive a message “Do you want to terminate the session on a different machine” if MultiCharts is currently running on PC#1.
