To connect MultiCharts to Kraken, it is necessary to receive an API Key from the Kraken website.

To set up Kraken data feed connection:

1. In the QuoteManager main menu select Tools and then click Data Sources, highlight Kraken in the list of all supported data vendors and click the Settings button. The Kraken Settings window is opened.
2. Main tab:
Connectivity section
  • Enter your API-key. The API-key can be received at the Kraken website after free registration.
  • Enable the option Use heartbeats for connection loss detection to automatically restore the connection with Kraken server in case of temporary connection loss.
  • Check Show Error pop-up alert to receive alerts.
3. Volume Multiplier tab:
  • In this section, you can select the category of the instruments and configure the Volume Multiplier value.
