Features and limitations

Features

  • Searching for symbols by keyword
  • Automated adding of symbols and the corresponding attributes to the database
  • Automatic reconnection in case connection is lost


Limitations

  • Patsystems (J-Trader) does not provide history data. See the Importing Data section for information on gap filling

Setting up

  1. Launch Quote Manager.
  2. In the Tools menu, click Data Sources.
  3. Select Patsystems (J-Trader) and click Settings.
  4. Contact your broker. Inform the broker that your program uses MultiCharts as the Application ID and FBD653F002 as Licence ID. Get from the broker the values for Host IP Address, Host Port, Price IP Address, Price Port and enter them in the corresponding fields.
  5. Indicate the Login and Password.
