RectangleGetNext
From MultiCharts
Returns an ID number of the first existing rectangle drawn subsequent to a rectangle with the specified ID number, with both rectangles of a specified origin; returns a value of -2 if the specified object ID number is invalid.
Usage
RectangleGetNext (ID,Origin)Parameters
- ID - a numerical expression specifying the rectangle ID number
- Origin - a numerical expression specifying the origin of the rectangles:
1 - drawn by the current study
2 - drawn by a study other then the current study, or drawn manually by the user
3 - drawn by any study, or drawn manually by the user
4 - drawn by the current study, or drawn manually by the user
5 - drawn by a study other then the current study
6 - drawn by any study
7 - drawn manually by the user
Example
Assign a value to Value1 variable, indicating the ID number of the first existing rectangle drawn subsequent to a rectangle with the ID number of 3, with both rectangles drawn by the current study:
