To connect Rithmic Local Sim Broker Profile it is necessary to have set up connection to Rithmic/Zen-Fire data feed in QuoteManager (see [[Built-in Data Sources]])

Open position Profit/Loss is calculated in MultiCharts.

Unrealized Profit/Loss for the account is calculated in MultiCharts.

====Setting up Rithmic Local Sim Broker Profile====

In the '''Manage Broker Profiles … ''' window (see [[Broker Profiles Overview#Managing Broker Profiles|Managing Broker Profiles]]) click '''New''' and select '''Rithmic Local Sim'''. Rithmic Local Sim will be added to the list of Broker Profiles.

In the '''Simulator Options''' window:

# Simulation Option section. <br/> Specify range for '''Communication Delay'''. Milliseconds are used. <br/> Specify range for '''Execution Delay'''. Milliseconds are used. <br/> Specify '''Initial Balance'''. <br/> Select '''Execution method'''.
# Margin Requirements Calculation section. <br/> Select Margin calculation method.
# Default Order Settings section. <br><br> It is obligatory to specify an account in Account field to send orders to. Click Lookup button to get list of available accounts and select one of them.

Select one of the four available Time In Force order parameters.
* '''DAY; or:''' <br> Order is canceled if it does not execute by the close of the trading day. Unless otherwise specified, every order is a Day order.
* '''FOK (Fill or Kill Orders); or:''' <br>Specifying that the order must execute immediately and in its entirety, or be canceled.
* '''GTC (Good-Til-Cancelled); or:''' <br>  Order will continue to work within the system and in the marketplace until it executes or is canceled.
