'''Schiff Pitchfork''' is a technical analysis tool derived from [[Andrews' Pitchfork]]. As Andrews' Pitchfork it is composed of 3 trendlines (centerline/handle and 2 tines above and below it). The difference from the standard pitchfork is in the origin’s location: 1/2 the vertical distance and 1/2 the horizontal distance between the high and low points (first two points set).
By default Schiff Pitchfork in MultiCharts is created with 2 additional tines. That is possible to add up to 12 sets of tines at the user defined distance from the centerline.
In MultiCharts one can change the settings of Schiff Pitchfork. All the changes are performed in the '''Format Schiff Pitchfork''' window.
Each instance of a Schiff pitchfork has its own '''Format''' window. The number (if there are 2 or more Schiff pitchforks in the same Chart Window) are is shown in the titlebar of each '''Format Schiff Pitchfork''' window.
One can change the settings of Schiff Pitchfork: the color, style and weight of the handle, base and the tines. One can choose any element of the pitchfork to be displayed or hidden. It is also possible to change the time and price coordinates of Schiff Pitchfork.
