<br><div style="background-color: #E3FBE5;">Note: The maximum number of symbols per one Scanner window is 5,000(in MultiCharts 32 bit) / No limitation for the amount of symbols per Scanner window (in MultiCharts 64 bit).</div>
<br><div style="background-color: #E5F6FF;">Tip: Symbols can also be copied and pasted from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet or text file to the Scanner.</div>

To unlink a chart from the scanner:
# Click the '''Symbol Instrument Link''' http[[File://www.multicharts.com/img/wiki/StatusLine/LinkingSymbol.gif png]] button on the chart and change it to '''Not Linked''' http[[File://www.multicharts.com/img/wiki/StatusLine/NotLinked.gif]].

: <div style="background-color: #E3FBE5;">Note: All manually placed drawings will stay in their original locations.</div>
