A Desktop is basically an organizational tool, it helps to specify overall settings for the a set of workspaces and the overall look of in one MultiChartswindow.Desktop is the state of your Main Window that includes: * position and status (enabled/disabled) of the Main Window Toolbars;* the list of the opened workspaces;* position of the Main Window If you have a multi-monitor setup, you can save MultiCharts window layout on the every monitor screen.Only 1 Desktop can be opened in 1 as a desktop and then when you launch MultiCharts instance, but next time just open a bunch of desktop files (you can have open multiple MultiCharts instances open with one Desktop each files at the same time, once by selecting them all and every Desktop can have a separate name and different settingspressing Enter) to get your setup back.
It is possible to create, save, open, close, rename, and delete Desktops. Each Desktop can contain multiple Workspaces.
Names of the open Desktops are shown at the top of MultiCharts windows.
