Online mode allows to collect Usually data is collected only for symbols that you have charted (whatever you load on your chart gets saved locally). “Collect RT Data w/o Plotting” option is useful if you are using a feed that provides only a short period of historical data or no historical at all. You can build up a local library of historical data by collecting RT data for the symbols you need, without any chart creatingneeding to constantly open and maintain all charts every single day. The unlimited number of symbols can be connected to a data feed and the received quotes are stored in the database.
The symbol's connection status as well as the number of the quotes received is displayed in the '''Realtime Status''' column.

Note: The option collects real time data from the moment you enable it for the symbol, only while QuoteManager is up and running.
Data collection will start automatically next time the QuoteManager is opened (if the symbol was not disconnected before closing QM).
