I have had a problem with orders not being sent from my autotrader to IB. Andrew and the programmers are working on it, and I trust that they will find a solution, but, in the meantime, I would like to try a suggestion made by Stan, namely to use PlaceMarketOrder and ChangeMarketPosition. Sa, Could you explain the two reasons you prefer AA again (I'm afraid that I not quite sure I understand)? And, while using AA, do you experience the problem I initially posted about, namely that trades that don't appear in live trading appear when the system is switched to backtesting mode (and vic...

Auto trading question
Occasionally, when I'm trading a chart live with autotrader on, no trade will appear. However, when I change the settings (i.e., reset it so that it gets backtrading data), a trade will appear. The trade would also appear if the chart were turned off and then turned on again (again, for the same rea...

I'm running a chart and its duplicate. One is trading live, the other isn't. A trade has appeared on the chart that isn't running live but not on the live one. I understand that one is using historical data and one isn't. Nonetheless, it seems to me that autotrading can only be possible if live trad...

Are there any plans to make MC Mac compatible? I'm not sure what that entails, but it would be tremendous service to those of us who love our Apples.
BTW, I'm aware of the virtual pc option (Parallels, etc.). I'm just curious if it would be possible to obviate that.

Backtesting vs. Realtime with Line Break and Kagi Charts
I've noticed that when using automated strategies using Line Break or Kagi charts, there is a great discrepancy between realtime and backtested results. For example, the number of trades is substantially different. I understand the difference between realtime and backtesting. But I'm surprised at th...

Dave, I'm not sure if that's what I'm looking for. In TS, if you go to Volume > Interval Setting, there's a box where you can set Share Bar. So, for example, I would set the chart for 1000 shares/bar. If I set 1000 under Contracts in Multicharts, will I achieve the same thing (I'm not talking about ...

Thanks.
