FXCM data

Andrew, Thanks for posting your comments. Yes, Andrew, TJ's post was offensive and I see now that it has been deleted. Very good. Your attempt at obfuscation regarding the offensive post intimating I was commenting on your post is very charming. I believe you are confusing forum posting with proper ...

FXCM data

TJ, Thanks for your post. It was totally off topic, offensive, and of no help at all. My question is how to connect the chart to the data stream. One step at a time leaving nothing out. The complete end to end connection. How to do it. Documented completely. Getting the data into the chart. Step by ...

FXCM data

Andrew,
Thanks for your post regarding DDE.
Unfortunately you left out the part about FXCM data. Where is the source for FXCM data?
Your help turns out to be no help at all, just a frustrating dead end.

Tom

Forex Broker Support

I want to trade FXCM using MultiCharts and have been researching the issue. I have contacted Rithmic customer support for informaiton on connecting to FXCM via: Zen-Fire | Rithmic | FXCM. I expect a callback from their support tech later this morning. www.rithmic.com/connectivity.html And here for t...

Zen-Fire/Mirus demo account setup.

I called MultiCharts tech support and Anastassia was able to connect to my computer and configure the connection to Zen-Fire using the user id and password I obtained from Mirus Futures for the demo account. I was able to receive real time data for the ES contract with no historical data and was una...

DRM servers down, no access!

I don't think a "grace period" could be abused when the only time it is honored by the TS Support network is when one or more DRM servers are down. The grace period would only be in effect when there was an outage, until the technician resolved the outage and reset the grace period to "off". So, the...

MultiCharts disabled due to DRM outage.

Andrew, thanks for the update. Please understand it is impossible to prevent network outages like the one you describe here. There is always going to be some risk of failure. The remedy for the problem for us users of MultiCharts lies in the behavior of the MultiCharts software when DRM authenticati...

MultiCharts Use Guide

Andrew,
A cursory look at the table of contents shows a glaring lack of documentation on data feeds and broker connections.
Will have a closer look tonight.

have you done a search of this forum? Yes, I have done a search and below is what I found. It would be nice to have a tutorial or documentation on connecting to Rithmic / Zen-Fire and the relationship and function of each to the other. "FYI: Rithmic (Zen-fire) provides historical data ... ... and w...

Hi Marina,

can I use FXOrder2Go only with FXCM or I use it for MBTrading as well?
Thank you very much.
TS Support,
Is there documentation on using FXOrder2Go? Doesn't MCFX use FXCM data?

DRM servers down, no access!

A significant problem for automated trading systems running on MultiCharts. Unacceptable in a production environment. There are enough acts of god to deal with, we don't need this.

FOREX via MBTrading or FXCM in MultiCharts

MCFX data, is it being stored locally? and if so, where?

I have a lifetime license for MultiCharts and am using the MCFX program until I can get FOREX in MultiCharts (working with FXCM on this).

Is the realtime data being saved, and where?
Also, can I create a Universal DDE source for MultiCharts from FXCM?
Regards,
Tom Keough
