Compatability TS 9.0
Does it really matter than MC will not be compatable with TS 9.0? The advantage of MC is that you can use the many thousands of strategies indicators etc previously written in Easy Language and use these in MC for development testing etc. As already said by another poster MC is a significant product...

Multicharts Sim Trading
Have you thought of connecting MC to NT using the NT ELD?
This way you can fire your trades through NT which will allow you to use NT's performance data etc.
Finally got it working using Custom Futures - seems to work ok, but only tried it in SIM mode with ESignal data

Multicharts and NT Trader
As an update to this thread for anyone trying this, in the end I had to setup a custom future by copying all the data for ES H0 and YM H0 over and changing the name to ES 03-10 and YM 03-10 respectively. The main problem then seemed to be is making sure the exchange codes were right under both MC an...

Changing Futures Names
2nd attempt at post Is there a way to change the displayed name of a future? I tried changing the ES H0 (esignal) to ES 03-10 so it would work with NT. However once I had done this I could not receive new data. I tried also looking at custom futures. I could get the ES to work as ES 03-10 but not ge...

Multicharts and NT Trader
Well after messing around I have finally got it to work. You can drive data and orders to NT from MC. Once I changed the name of the ES H0 to ES 03-10 as Mike suggested everything worked. Thanks Mike Have been testing on the simulated data feed as markets now closed. Looking forward to testing on re...

Multicharts and NT Trader
Mike Yes I have tried that as the NT Future Contract. I am using Esignal to drive MC so use ES H0. It seems to me that the symbol mapping on the NT side is not working as when I fill in the relevant NT field it seems to make no difference, at least for futures. It seems that as long as the symbols m...

Multicharts and NT Trader
Has anyone got Multicharts to get NT to accept data and orders for Futures contracts. Using the NT TS data export script I can send data to NT for stocks no problem, but can only receive futures data if I set for example the ES up as a stock in the NT Trader instrument list. I have tried all the sym...
