I should add, that I'm using point bars, don't know about other bar types.

Re: 'aiRightDispDateTime' issue is back in MC64 v10 release [SOLVED]
I have the same problem. All worked fine with displaying text to right of the screen in version 9. In version 10, both releases, the text is not displaying correctly. At first, it comes up correctly, but then it overwrites itself as the bars move on, and the result is that the text gets scrambled. S...

Re: Any way to force saving the quote to database?
Many traders keep their system online 24/7 for multiple days/weeks. Now that MC has migrated to RAM cache, that means the data never gets to save to the database. It would make sense to provide an option to periodically save the cache to the database, either manually or automatically, so that days ...

Re: MC program updating problem
You make a wonderful product and you have a fantastic support team! I thought that if I'm a registered user I shouldn't have to register again in order to update from 7.x or 8.0 beta to 8.0 release. Well, I missed that, and used my registration code during the update process, instead of filling out ...

Re: MC program updating problem
The 64 bit is a separate program, it will not overwrite your 32 bit version. If you don't want your 32 bit copy, you can always delete/uninstall it. I've had the same problem with updating the 64 bit version and managed to install it without filling out any form. Although it refused to install in t...

Re: What component of MultiCharts do you want to be optimize
As noted above, if you have more than one data series and use non-traditional bars (point, range, tick, volume bars), the data replay function is unusable, since only gives you minute-by-minute replay of data. In practice, it actually makes it impossible to use multiple data series! I think, if you ...

Re: Data playback stepping in minutes in point charts [SOLVED]
Thanks for clarifying. So it's a 'feature' and not a 'bug'. Although it both looks and feels like a bug. E.g., sometimes, when the market moves fast, a one-minute step on the data playback will move you maybe 20 bars ahead in one jump on a point chart. And when the market is slow, you can click 3-4 ...

Hello Kiasom, Can this behaviour be easily reproduced? Could you describe the sequence of actions leading to that? Re: Data playback stepping in minutes in point charts [SOLVED]
Here's a word file with a screen shot. You can see that there are two instruments in one chart, crude oil 20 points and crude oil 33 points. On the time axis you see that it's not linear, due to that the instruments are in Points. In the chart, the two point values are both shown together, with two ...

Re: Data playback stepping in minutes in point charts [SOLVED]
Thanks TJ for the suggestion, but it doesn't change a thing.
Sometimes there is one bar per click in playback mode, sometimes two bars, sometimes three (after having no progression at all for three clicks). I assume there is a bug, since the playback options are in minutes, and not in bars.

Data playback stepping in minutes in point charts [SOLVED]
I'm having my strategies in Point charts. All works fine if I use only Data1. However, I've started to introduce some calls to Data2, with data from the same instrument, but with another point value. The data playback seems to get confused from the introduction of Data2: It steps oddly. In the list ...

Re: Multi Charts with ZenFire and demo account? [SOLVED]
Hello, sdonahue. We are doing our best to support the latest Zen-fire API. Still there are some moments that need to be resolved from the Zen-fire side. Unfortunately we do not have an estimated time for that at the moment. The Zenfire connection has been rather unstable the last days, it's droppin...

- Stop Loss orders are doubled. Right click (on active order) => Attach Exit Strategy => Stop Loss When Stop Loss becomes active the amount of contracts are doubled. So if you're Long one contract and the Stop Loss is hit you're short one contract instead of flat. This bug was confirmed by the supp...

Re: Optimizer accepts only integers as input.
I think it's contra-intuitive to ever use the comma as decimal separator, since in EasyLanguage only the dot is accepted. And why should the optimizer behave differently in its handling of inputs than when formatting the very same inputs of the signal in MC? For less confusion, I suggest to revert t...

Re: Optimizer accepts only integers as input.
All input dialogs for optimization use regional settings for the decimal separator. If in your regional Windows settings a comma is used, you should use a comma - ",". If a period is used, you should use a period - ".". OK, but how can I use doubles with comma for the decimal separator in Easy Lang...

Optimizer accepts only integers as input.
Holidays = time for optimization J I'm on MC7 beta 4, but the optimizer refuses to work as in previous versions. After a lot of head-scratching I found that the optimizer doesn't accept any decimal inputs. Actually, in the list of variables to optimize, it transforms inputs with decimals to integers...

What I am post about is either a bug or a blessing (?). Peculiar thing :D Because Duka does not send historic data to MC, no backfilling of gaps is possible (I closed my computer for 20 minutes and no backfilling followed after I restarted the computer and MC ). I checked that it is impossible in M...
