Re: TIF & Execution Errors
Jdog, Please ask your broker if they can trace the disconnects on their end or if they can enable API connectivity logging on your PC for further analysis. Henry, per your suggestion I contacted the broker whose reply is included below: I can see the multiple disconnections from our side as well wi...

Re: TIF & Execution Errors
Yes, my logs are full of "No connection to Open E Cry trading system", "Connecting to Open E Cry trading system", and "Connection to Open E Cry has been established." The odd thing is that I use an internet connectivity monitor that pings google and OEC every 2 seconds and I've never once lost inter...

TIF & Execution Errors
Running MC.Net 64 9.0 (Build 11212) coupled to OpenECry account. I am having problems with occasional orders being rejected due to "no instrument-specific reference data for symbol ... had been received." The Orders tab reflect the TIF as unspecified (see. attached image). I am also getting an occas...

The pla file contains the K-Ratio function and the !Optimize by K-Ratio! signal. The function contains a brief description for...

Re: Optimizing Problem when using Save_Global_Data function [SOLVED]
I was afraid of that. I will have to explore alternative methods for passing information from one signal to another that can be optimized a little more efficiently.
Thanks, nonetheless.

Re: Optimizing Problem when using Save_Global_Data function [SOLVED]
Thanks, Henry. That seems to have stopped the error messages.
There does seem to be a huge difference now in the time required to optimize even a single input.
Is this the consequences of using a single thread as opposed to all threads for the optimization?

Optimizing Problem when using Save_Global_Data function [SOLVED]
I am using a signal which acts as a TradeManager to control position sizing, profit targets, trading times and limits, broker sync, etc, while passing trading instructions (i.e., trend direction, position sizes….) to various independent signals via the save_global_data function. The TradeManager uti...
