Unknown Error on start-up [SOLVED]
Annoyingly, windows (Win10) decided to do an update overnight, so it force-stopped Multicharts (15 Beta) in the process. Now, when I try to start Multicharts, it goes to the log-in screen and when I click LOG IN, is pops up a window that says only Unknown Error. I've tried running MC installation wi...

I uninstalled all versions of Visual C++ and then ran MultiCharts64OpenBeta.15.0.26024.700_x64.exe, which installs Visual C++ itself.

Win10 system - Trying to update from 14.0.25793.400

I've tried both the latest version 14 and the Beta version 15.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Trade log sync [SOLVED]
This is a follow-on from an earlier question. If I "connect" a chart to my broker (IB), then it will show my trades on the chart - even if I enter the trades using on IB's Trader Workstation (TWS). This is cool. However if, for example, I go long on TWS and then connect the chart, that entry is not ...

No luck - I went through the tutorial and made sure all settings are right. I found that the "Download open orders on connection" box was un-checked, but alas, it made no difference. Re-loaded TWS and MC, re-tried deleting/resetting symbol mapping, disconnect/reconnect... nada. I can still place ord...

Display of historical trades on chart [SOLVED]
I use MultiCharts with Interactive Brokers, but I typically place my orders using the IB price ladder. In the past, if I enabled chart trading on a MC chart, I was able to trade from the chart and I would also see historical trades, even if those trades were placed using the IB Trader Workstation pr...

"Realtime-history matching" anomalies
I have a chart set up that has 24-hour 1-minute bars in data1 and regular session daily bars in data2. This code uses both data1 and...

Re: Daily ES bars without holidays
I think you meant QuoteManager --> Holidays Setup, then un-tick "Show data on holidays". This works, but it completely blanks out all data (including 1-minute) instead of just skipping the daily bars on holidays (as it does when you do NOT build daily bars from 1-minute data). If that's the best we ...

Daily ES bars without holidays
When trading ES (as oh so many do), I'm having a problem with using series functions - such as average(c,10). I set up my chart with 5-minute bars and add daily bars in a data2 chart. I use the new "Build from minutes" feature - which is great btw! This is mostly OK, but its one flaw is that bars ar...

I've been living with this for a while, but it's annoying. At some point, my Data Window became undocked from the workspaces and no amount of moving it to the left or right, up or down will make it re-dock. Thank you for resolving this issue. That's pretty disappointing.
Can you suggest a data vendor which provides multi-year 1-minute data (and custom session times for daily bars) at a reasonable price?

Yes... I've also gone into Quote Manager and cleared the cache, deleted data and reloaded. The problem persists. Looking at the actual data in QM (using Edit Data) the prices are as reflected on the chart. Perhaps MC is not sending requested session times to IQFeed, so IQFeed is simply sending the d...
