I wouldn't dream of determining the initial capital without knowing my net advantage which may only be calculated after the:

size of average win;
size of average loss;
percentage of winning trades;
percentage of losing trades;

are known.

Yes, Tresor, I most certainly shall do so with an Excel file attached. It is just that I still have not managed to take delivery of my new trading computer; I live in a third world country where high specifications things are not as readily available as they are in the West.

If not from day ONE, all versions during the last 6 months have got commission and slippage wrong. For instance: For emini S&P 500 futures a $0.012 cost input actually means $12.5 OR 0.25 points OR 1 tick. For Euro futures a $0.0001 cost input actually means $25.0 OR 0.0002 points OR 2 ticks. Kh...

NEXT QUESTION:

Amongst the topics which have run more than a month, this one, with more than 1250 views per month, is probably the most popular.

What on earth are so many wanna be scalpers doing with MultiCharts?

Super,

What you have suggested is correct as far as exits are concerned.

But one will also need to ensure there are NO NEW ENTRIES between the MyTime exit and daily close!

Then there could the matter of IBOG being TRUE or FALSE.

SetExitonClose may only be used when testing, not live trading.

I do not thing it is advisable to close an open position when trading live via a general command; such command should be congruent with the rest of the code.
