Re: High utilisation of computer resources, while working with Binance.

Any symbols with frequent updates need to be handled carefully in MC. For me (a futures trader) I have to split emini SP500 futures across two machines. When that gets lively things slow down. It should also be noted that ICE went round and bought up lots of small data vendors and then shut them down (e.g. eSignal)

So would be great if MC keeps ahead of this and makes more and more vendors available. Thomson + Bloomberg should be the minimum.

For me it is unacceptable.

I would go to IB and harass the hell out of them tbh.

If historical backfills<>realtime then that is mission failed. Get answers from IB and/or try a different data feed solution.

Yeah the correct behaviour in real time is what’s expected. My IOG signal with BM off places fills correctly live but not in backtest. Just like you my fills are at bar extremes. Out of interest what Bar Magnifier settings are you using in conjunction with this IOG backtest?

I suspect you've been stopped out at the next available data point (next bar open) which happens to be greater than your stop.

I would take a guess that your Bar magnifier setting isn't granular enough.
