Re: TrendLines Automatic Modified To Incorporate 3 Points
The first image is of the ES chart with the 'TrendLines Automatic' study. The second image is the same chart, but with manual trend lines drawn to connect 3 points. TrendLines Automatic uses an array and I honestly don't understand the mechanics of how it functions. The study allows you to select nu...

TrendLines Automatic Modified To Incorporate 3 Points

As the study presently exists (comes standard in MC) it uses swing highs and lows and gives the user a "strength" input parameter. Ideally I'm lookin...

Recover Studies?
My operating system was overwritten. Luckily I still have my original MultiCharts folder. However I wasn't able to export my studies prior to this OS change. Is there a way to extract/salvage my studies if I still possess the MultiCharts folder? I tried to copy and paste this folder in place of the ...

if INTRABARORDERGENERATION is enabled, the signal is recalculated every tick. if INTRABARORDERGENERATION is NOT enabled, the signal is recalculated at the end of each bar (EOB). At the end of each recalculation, the old order is canceled and a new order is submitted. Yes, I understand that. But my ...

Auto Trade with Open E Cry
Hello everyone, If the entry condition is true on bar #1, the following order is sent: Buy next bar open -1 limit; Let's assume the open of bar #1 is 1166.00. Therefore, the simulated order is buy @ 1165.00 limit. Now, if the low of bar#1 is 1165.00 the simulated limit order fills and the MarketPosi...

Sometimes I'll connect using VNC and from within the VNC I'll open an RDP session to give me 2 desktops to work from. This is the SAME Computer/Ser...

Authorized vs Unauthorized
Hi, I run MC from a server and connect via VNC. Sometimes I'll open multiple instances of my server, but always from the same IP address because my physical server has only 1 ip address. Ok, if I have MC open from one instance of my server and try to open it from another instance of the server I get...

Hello support, I am still waiting to read that you are in the process of adding SMTP e-mail interface for transmitting signals for automation. I currently use TS and the smtp to send signals to my ATC Broker software (OEC). It works flawlessly. As we all know the TS data is slow compared to others (...

Smoothed Stochastic
I too am interested in this feature. Another software vendor offers, with the click of a box, to display stochastic as simple, exponential, or smoothed. My understanding is is smoothed is very close to exponential Here are the differences: Exponential = Previous Average + ((Current Value - Previous ...
