The problem with the nt platform is that it is not stable and offers only futures as a brokerage. I do have also a nt license and in my experience nt is far behind the ts platform.

I will open a account with TS the data is beter and faster than the 300 milliseconds snapshot data that interactive brokers offers and is good enough for providing signals. When backtesting or running a simulated strategy then a buy order is the lowest ask price and the sell order is the highest bid price.

Hello Matricks,
I agree with you that the backtesting and trading results in realtime simulated modus are not realistic and to optimistic. Buying at the bid price and selling at the ask price is not what happens in the realtradingworld it has to be the opposite.
