Thank you Angelina, unfortunately it did not change current issue. I changed the settings in the custom futures, closed the charts and re-opened them. Same issue and same messages. Chart goes offline ...

Helmut, may you just changed the color of the price scale to white ? Accidentally ??? :l ol:@Ben
It is not possible to rescale the y-axis via the button nor is it possible to change the price axis manually in any way

There is no bug. The exchanges no not declare the different 'Trading Hours' as one session ! Even the added night sessions, any news about are unusually very hard to find, are separated as 'Night' sessions. So I do not see a bug here ... U can use templates, copy the files, export the studies and send it to the machine you want to. Easy as that. I guess there are much more important bugs/issues issues to fix. on the other hand there is a specific page just for feature request.

I tend to uninstall the 'old' version first w/o deleting the data/strategies etc. After that I run the installation file as 'Administrator' and all is fine ... Never had a problem ...

Critical database size is determined by your OS capabilities. I'm running WS2012R2. Reducing the size of the db doesn't work on my end here as the db always crashes and I have to use the backup afterwards. I export all data & symbols every 4-6 weeks and re-import it back into a new db. But it saves...

I spread charts over several desktops. A new desktop opens a new Multicharts instance. From my personal experience, makes it much more reliable and 'faster' to work with.

If you leave the data range as it is with first date to load today, of course there will be no data for 100 days or so back. You need to adjust it like in the screenshot below ... Maybe, if this is what you want. But you will limit your optimizations by yourself. More importantly, you limit your statistical output. Your strategy can show much better parameters with trading times between 0300 and 0600 instead of just analyzing one hour only.

sptrader, your suggestion does not fix the original problem. Transparency set on a TL sitting above a bar, candle etc still would have a visual effect on the bar. Just be sure to load the same amount of data in chart & scanner with <FORMAT INSTRUMENT> and load the same time frame, same amount of bars or days back ... Why not using something like PrimoCache or so ... You could easily set a 'Defer-Write' option to write the data in the cache for once a minute, hour, day or any time frame you wish. Do not use Windows 10 for any Trading-Application. I don't know just one Trading-Product not having just one issue related to Windows 10. You might wish to look up the definition of MaxBarsBack in an old TS manual. You don't need to load and keep less data with <MaxBarsBack> set compared without it ? No ? I know CQG only, offering a free trial for a limited number of exchanges via AMP or so.. From what I know, with DTN, eSignal and so on you would have to pay exchange fees, at least. I'm not 100% sure about that. Delivery of historical data is limited as well.

Have you set the correct settings ? May, when setting a symbol up for intra-day data, it has not enough bars to set and work with.
