Using MC.NET, how can I programmatically access the POC for each bar in a Volume Delta chart type? Note that I don't mean the VolumeProfile POC (which is the only reference I can find in the documentation) but I want the POC in the "Style" tab of the Format Instrument dialogue.
Thanks,
saltminer

MarketPositionAtBroker InteractiveBrokers Advisor FA account
Hi folks, I have a dilemma when trading into an InteractiveBrokers Advisor account (from the Portfolio Trader), using the "Manual allocation" method to trade into a Profile. In this scenario, StrategyInfo.MarketPositionAtBroker always returns zero. When using the override method OnBrokerPositionChan...

Re: Portfolio Tester with large MaxBarsBack on futures [SOLVED]
Thanks Josh and thank you Henry; the Custom Futures is something I had previously played around with but had not done the extra step of symbol mapping. Fabulous! I have an additional conundrum to solve around massive Portfolio trading; I've started a new thread. https://www.multicharts.com/discussio...

Portfolio Trader; orders crossing on same or affiliated acc
Hi folks, when trading multiple strategies on the same symbol in Portfolio Trader, it is possible for one strategy to exit (at market) and another to enter (at market) at the same moment. This leads to the orders being rejected by Interactive Brokers (or any broker) due to SEC rules which forbids or...

Portfolio Tester with large MaxBarsBack on futures [SOLVED]
Hi MultiCharts folks, I am creating a large portfolio of daily systems. The systems trade futures using day bars, and have quite high MaxBarsBack values, e.g. 250. Backtesting works fine on continuous futures. A front month future, which of course is the symbol that must be traded live, sometimes do...

AvaTrade - no data for "
Hi guys, I've got MultiCharts.NET and AvaTrade hooked up nicely. Just one problem, the symbol for VXX, which is "S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN" gets no data. I am subscribed to this symbol within AvaTrade, and can get live charts inside the AvaTrade application no problems. This is the only tro...

Re: Error - Cannot connect to Currency Server
I have this problem on two computers right now; my main trading computer and a Windows Server (2012). In the Portfolio Trader during a backtest, the test is halted because "Cannot access Currency Conversion Server". I am testing European equities. The exchange for the instruments has been correctly ...
