The symbol (017M) multiplier is changed. So IB API just doesn't recognize the symbol with incorrect multiplier.

Dear TJ, I deliberately restart MC once everyday in order to force MC to save the cached data to hard-disk to avoid missing data because of sudden power off or system crash. Actually I did something similar without success. The key points are:
1. Close ALL charts first before changing symbol root.
2. Reload data, otherwise, some of the data won't be downloaded.

I am using an indicator to adjust the 1min bar data and export to an txt file as shown in the attached photo. Everything is alright except when the UpVol field is 0. When UpVol is zero, the Volume (Vol_ variable) always returns zero.

I know MC builds charts from Tick, Min & Daily Data provided by data source. I would like to know if these 3 data types is saved separately and independently in MC ? I mean, when I change, say, the tick data value, will the Min data type of the same symbol be affected ?

Yes, that's correct. And if any ticks are missing, then MultiCharts will backfill the data on the chart, and that historical data is then also saved in the database.
