Thanks Multicharts. I have to go through every fu#&ing chart and every fu*&ing indicator and turn off "skip identical ticks" because all my indicators are volume based. Just because you guys think I that everyone will want it turned on automatically. sh!t. I am officially pissed.

Re: up and down ticks

Not MC fault.
eSignal does not provide UpTicks and DownTicks data for minutes, only for tick data. All volume is displayed as UpTicks for minute data.
a) Use seconds instead of minutes. (ie: 180 seconds instead of 3 minutes)
b) change to IQfeed.

Did you read TJ's post?

You are just comparing today with yesterday 20 times per bar.
You need to re-visit the line:
"If c > c[1] then mysum = 1 + mysum[1];" and think about adding something more definitive to it. Think about it and it will come to you.

I realize that TSS as put a lot of thought and energy into data flow processing to make recoveries as painless as possible. I really like the way things run now. A suggestion might be: To have a user configurable buffer setting that is preset with a default and can be reset to the default later, if ...

In Beta, maybe the best way to keep track of the ongoing DRM project is with a green status button. It's clunky, but it's like a debugging tool or the output bar in PLE, or a print statement in code that you will later take out when it works right. Maybe the best final answer is nothing. When the pr...

Hi John, NT Trader has the exact same set-up - a little green box in the status bar that makes a sound when first connected to a feed and when the connection is lost it turns red and a voice comes on announcing "Connection Lost". It has never bothered me, but I suspect most traders using NT have the...

+1 I really like this idea. If you double click on "Not Authorized" a window with your registration info pops up. If you click "ok" MC will now "Authorize". I don't have to shut down and restart MC.
Nice.

Beta 4 has been working flawlessly until today 10Mar09 at 0823 PDT(see attached). eSignal Data Manager working fine. NT working fine. PingPlotter says no dropouts to eSignal Datafarm.

I waited for it to start up by itself again. But it didn't, so I shut it down.
