you create a volume bar chart the same way you create a minute chart. you create a volume bar chart from the very beginning, as soon as you specified a symbol, you go to specify whether it is a minute chart or a volume bar chart. there is no need to re-define the chart attribute. The option wasn't ...

INSERT / SYMBOL / SETTINGS / compression = contracts
Yes. I see that you have to first create a chart, and then switch it over. luckily for me, it creates the subsequent charts defaulted to the volume bar chart.

There should be a way to create the volume bar chart from the get go. Oh well.

2 datafeeds at once? TransAct and IQ feed. Problems DTN...

I am having an issue loading IQ-feed data. The symbol SWM7 loaded fine. Then I tried to load MTJ7 and it's stalling. Other symbols seem to stall as well. It appears as if I cannot load 2 different datafeeds at once. I have DTN-IQ feed up with a few symbols. Then I tried loading a symbol, FDAXM7 from...

Re: Pats System Data

Anyone using Pats for their European and U.S. futures data with MC?

What is the quality like? Does it go down?

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks
I am also curious to know the answer to this as well. Please advise.

It will take 1-2 months approximately.
Okay. If you can beat SC to this, you may be in luck. I've already got the permanent license, but I'll start using the software more often :)

Any news on the OEC trader datafeed? ( www.openecry.com )
We have come to an agreement with "Open e Cry" and are planning to implement a data plug-in for them.
Any timeframe on this?

Paolo, If Transact is not present in the list of Data Sources, please contact us via the live chat or give us a call. Transact feed is working okay. I haven't used your platform in a while. I did get the license, as I feel it has a lot of potential. But you still have some things to work out with t...

Chart Copying and pasting and Line thickness.....

I was wondering if there was a way to copy and paste a chart within the same workbook. More importantly, to copy and paste a chart between workbooks. Also, I dont know if I mentioned this before, but the line thickness of the MA lines is terrible. I moved up 1 notch from the thinnest line, to the se...

Okay. I see. But first, I had to set one symbol up manually in QuoteWindow. Hopefully not ALL the symbols. Just one. That wouldn't be good. SC has a way in which they automatically pull all of the symbols that your acct is activated for and allow you to select from a list which charts to open initia...

Do you know if they offer tick data Josh ? For 25/month it would indeed be a good feed source if MC can support it. IB is a good free feed, but their candle building on tick charts looks nothing like esig charts. I would like to see how OpenECry does Yes. They actually have a trade-on-the-chart fea...

Dear ybfjax, Are you able to see TransAct as it shown on the screenshot attached? Is this in the multicharts platform, or the quote manager? When I initially went to open a new chart in the multicharts platform, I didn't see it. But I did see something in the Quote manager for transact. But it shou...

Hi, I downloaded OpenCry's demo package and was impressed on how fast data downloaded. It also seemed to be a lot closer to datafeeds such as esig or TS. I think it would be a good feed for MC if you could implement it somehow. IB tends to have holes in data. I did not however see any tick data fro...

I noticed that transact is supposed to be supported here: http://www.tssupport.com/products/multicharts/datamanagement/#datasource . Well, how do I go about selecting it as a datafeed? I don't see it in the drop-down menu when I go to open a new chart. Please advise. I'm using MultiCharts 2.0.777.777

it's a IB problem

As a follow-up, Ensign Software's IB refresh also failed. I had to update using their DTN feed. This is definitely an IB problem and I don't think there is anything MC can do to resolve this, other than display charts with available data. ~mojo SC has said that IB's backfill has ALWAYS been unrelia...

There were two additional feature questions that I had? Could you all support the OpenEcry tick datafeed? E-mini russell missing data for no reason.

When I loaded ER2 (emini Rusell for TS) 30 sec, 1 min and 5 minute charts onto MC, I notice that it skips from 00:18:00 to 10:00. It did NOT do this for the e-mini nasdaq NQ charts (nasdaq properly shows the whole 24 hour period). I did NOTHING different. So what happened to my data? Loads in TS jus...
