Re: Platform crash when Volume Profile Used
Hi TJ, thx for you help. Very appreciated.
These are the answers to the questions you posted.
1. MultiCharts64 Version 12.0 Release (Build 20081)
2. Windows 10 Pro
3. Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-7300U CPU @ 2.6Ghz 2,71Ghz Hewlett Packard Elitebook, Ram 8GB
4. Antivirus Kaspersky Total Protection
5. Yes, the ASCII data are in two formats: tick and OHLC (daily). In the Quote Manager both types of CSV files are recognized well for every symbol, but the problem began when I was using only the tick data. The thick format is in CSV files, separated by comma and with four columns: Date, Time, Price and Volume.
I can see all the information no related with VP without any problems and in every timeframe including tick format, 1minute etc. That includes candlestick bars, indicators, scanner and so on. The problem only happens when I activate the VP feature,
In some cases the platform shows me the VP correctly, but when I change the symbol, the platform crashes. Sometimes I can see two or three symbols, other times 1 or 2, before the crash. I think that the error could be associated with the system, but I am not sure.
Thx again.

Re: Platform crash when Volume Profile Used
Hi again TJ.
Thx for your answer.
This morning I can solve the problem. After several efforts to do that, finally the solution consisted of using a workspace only for seeing the Volume Profile. In that WS I set up in the Format Instruments the Data Range only for showing the last 90 bars. After that, no more problems again. My data begins in 2006, so I suppose that the platform crashes when I choose to display more bars using all the history for every symbol. Besides, not showing other indicators such as simple moving averages and so on, also contributed to solve the problem.
Thanks again. Problem solved!
