I'm attempting an import of historical 1 tick data from TrueFx.com. I've got the data imported into the Quote Manager, but it won't load onto a chart.
My import process:
Create a new symbol, AcII Mapping, import data into that symbol, select the time series format, and import.
TrueFX supplies the bid and ask and I don't have a selection in the Quote Manager for the bid and ask. it's just either/or or Trade.
Any pointers for importing historical data?
thanks ahead of time!

Re: Importing historical data
You can import data for only one quote field at a time. Once you have imported all quote fields you need-you can plot them on the chart.Thank you TJ.
Do you know if there's a way to use both the bid and the ask of historical data? I only see an option to use the "trade", "bid", or the "ask".
Re: Importing historical data
Thank you for the replies. Since then I've gotten my data imported correctly and it is working fine.
New issues (I figured I'd use the same post since it's fairly relevant):
I’m trying to import 12 years of 1 tick data into MC.
The annoying part starts with importing to Multicharts. The data sets are in one month increments. 12 years x 12 months = 144 imports into multicharts. BUT Multicharts forces you to import the bid/ask/trade separately which creates 3x the imports!!!! 144 x 3 = 432 imports. I’m gonna go crazy!
Hopefully there is an easier way to do this?? I'm hoping that someone else has a remedy for this nonsense way of importing data.

Re: Importing historical data
Data for bid/ask/trade fields should be imported separately. That is not currently possible to import multiple fields at the same time.
