Hello,
TS has just updated their capabilities of Text and Trendline drawing objects.
These include e.g. Ellipses and Rectangles drawing objects that can be grammatically accessed via EL/PL.
Are you planning on anything similar to add to MC? This would be a very welcome step.
thanks.

Re: drawing object classes using PowerLanguage
Hello brouq,
Could you please provide the link for the description of this functionality?
Why do you need to get access to the drawing objects via the code? What is your goal?

Hi,
here is the link:
http://www.TS.com/trading-tec ... /update-24
My goal is to be able to draw objects including changing their properties from a code.
I do not want to paste everything from the website here, here is an extract:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All of the legacy EasyLanguage Text and Trendline keywords and functions (those prefixed with TL_ and Text_) will continue to behave as they have in prior versions/updates. No changes or additions were made to them. All of the new drawing object functionality has been added to the powerful EasyLanguage Class Library’s elsystem.drawingobjects namespace. Dozens of new classes are now available that allow the creation of, and interaction with, TextLabels, TrendLines, Ellipses, Rectangles, HorizonalLines and VerticalLines.
etc...

Hello brouq,
Thank you for the information. We will study it.
Please provide particular examples of what cannot be implemented with the current MultiCharts functionality, but can be accessed with the new drawing object classes.

You could put a request in Project Management so we could vote for itHello,

Re: drawing object classes using PowerLanguage
Just keeping a wish alive here I suppose, but some of the elsystem calls would be a great step forward. After decades of Supercharts / Omega / TS and now MC it is hard to believe that we still have only (effectively) dots, crosses and dashes in chart plots.
