I ordered eSignal data today and have been trying to connect it to MultiCharts. When I do, I get the errors:
Real-time Tick Server Message: Success Type: NOTIFY RETRY Status: Winsock communication error
[ERROR] Winros.ini is not found. Make sure eSignal is installed properly
Screenshots attached.
What does this mean? It says to make sure eSignal is installed properly but I downloaded straight from the eSignal site. I have also uninstalled eSignal and reinstalled. The eSignal data manager shows everything is fine there so there's some issue between flowing the data from the eSignal data manger into MC.
Thanks for all help!

Deleted program Threatfire
I deleted the program Threatfire (spyware program) after calling the eSignal tech support. Now I can get eSignal data into NT just fine, but cannot get data into MC.

Thanks Marina & eSignal
Ok, we got it taken care of.
The root of the entire problem was the program Threatfire. So if you are reading this and have the same issue as I did here, check to see if you have Threatfire installed. If not, it could be a host of other spyware type programs.
Here's a list that eSignal has: http://kb.esignalcentral.com/display/2/ ... 872744E-02
Once you delete the program(s), then delete MC and reinstall it.
So far, looks like it's working fine!
