Hello
I use the tick option to display the volume in forex. My data provider is IB. Problem is the information is lost after closing the indicator windows.
Any trick to keep the info in a database so I can have the info.
Martin

Re: Volume in forex: Any trick to keep the volume informatio
Dear Martin,
I assume you have tick or minute chart with Volume indicator applied to it and Build Volume On is set to Trade Volume in Format instrument --> Settings.
IB does not provide volume for historical tick and minute data for currency pairs, only for real-time data. Volume data collected in real-time should be save in the database. So, when you close MC and QM, you should see volume for the bars that you received in real-time and no volume for historical data (from IB historical servers). Do you reload charts (Ctrl+R)? If yes, MC requests all historical data from historical servers of IB, so you won't see volume on historical bars.
If your situation is different, please send us your workspace as well as screenshots demonstrating the issue so we can investigate it on our end.
