Yes, but there's a limit to how close the lines can be placed together since the price axis font size seems to limit this.

To set the grid to a constant size, right-click on the chart and select 'Format instrument'. Go to the 'Scaling' tab and look for the 'Set labels manually' option. There, with the 'Set step size' the price axis scaling can be set to a constant size (and with it the grid).

To change the price axis font size, right-click on the price axis and select 'Format price scale'. Then change the font size in the 'Y - price scale' tab of the 'Format window' window that pops up.
