Hi!
I am trying to figure out if it is possible to have classical bars with up color "Green" and down color "Red" in Multicharts.NET. And when there is a "doji" it should be for example "grey". Is this possible with Multicharts.NET as it is now or do I need an indicator to do this?
Thank you.
Archer
Classical Bars with Up/Down Colors?
Re: Classical Bars with Up/Down Colors?
You will need an indicator to color the bars as described.

Hello Archer,
You can also set the chart style in Format->Instrument->Style tab or use the pre-built MACD_Gradient indicator.

Re: Classical Bars with Up/Down Colors?
Thanks a lot to both of you, TraderGuy and Polly!
Interesting .NET article TraderGuy. I'll look into that one
Regarding the MACD_Gradient Polly I got it attached to the bars but it is only painting brown for both up and down bars. Is this because of the red/green combo? Could you please post an settings example on how to get red down bars and green up bars?
Again thank you
Edit: Polly, I found out how it works. Since it follows the MACD calculations I understand that it is not possible to have strictly red/green bars.
