I'm using MC64 V9 (build 10360) and having a problem with symbols in the PT.
All the members of the NDX100 are already in my QM and have IQFeed as their data source. When I import an instrument list of those symbols into a PT portfolio, the data provider is switched to "Interactive Brokers". The data source field has to be changed one symbol at a time. The data field option does not appear when selecting more than one symbol. This is "extremely" inefficient.
Shouldn't PT default to using the data source already set in QM ?
Is there a way to declare a data source/bar interval in the instrument list ?

Re: PT not using QM symbol data source
Hello KeyDiver,
You can see the active data source in the bottom right corner of the Portfolio Trader window.
Default data source is IB. The last data source you have used (added instrument) becomes the active one. You can add one symbol from IQFeed and then import the symbol list. Or go to Format Instrument->Instrument tab->Select the data source you need->do bulk selection of the instruments you need.
