Binance Volume Multiplier ?

Postby Salzburg » 11 Apr 2022

About the "Volume Multiplier"
Starting tot get a lot of error messages/ warnings from MC that i need to adjust my "Volume multiplier" for
data provider Binance.

I am very confused about this, you traders that is using Binance data to trade and build strategies on,
How do you handle this, and is this a setting that needs to be adjusted for each symbol uniquely ?

It also seems very arbitrary, since based on the help text from MC, one shall adjust it based on "Evaluating the volume"

Could someone cast some light on this setting and how you deal with this for Binance ?

Thanks

Hello Salzburg,

These messages appear because the amount of trades on Binance is less that 1, and MultiCharts works with integer numbers only.
Volume Multiplier settings for Binance are pulled from Binance directly, so there is no need to change them, they are automatically correct.
If you find these alerts excessive, you can disable them in QuoteManager -> Tools -> Data Sources -> Binance -> Show error pop-up alert.
