Time saver

Postby pitrader » 24 Apr 2022

Is there a way that I can move drawing objects or orders while in background dragging mode? I prefer having my chart in background dragging mode to give me better control of scale but if I have to move a drawing object (this even applies to any orders that I may have on the screen while chart trading) I have to click on the cursor arrow first, move my stop or limit order (or drawing object) and then click on background dragging again. This can be a real pain in a volatile market where seconds count.

Hello pitrader,

You might find assigning a keyboard shortcut to Background Dragging command helpful to quickly switch between the arrow and background dragging mode. Please assign the shortcut in File > Keyboard Shortcuts.

Hey Tammy.

Is there a way to have a keyboard shortcut to arrow pointer?

Hi,

There is no such command in keyboard shortcuts, but you can just switch back to the arrow pointer by pressing the shortcut for Background dragging again.
