Position info in Scanner

I would like to be able to retrieve my broker (IB) position information to display in market scanner. (I'm applying some additional processing to the position information so simply looking at the order/position window is not helpful).

I've tried creating a study indicator in scanner with i_CurrentContracts, i_MarketPosition_at_Broker (with and without the "i") - it reports a 0 position when I have a position. I believe these types of calls only work in a signal (not indicator) that is active on live trading, correct? If so, is there another approach to avoid going the live trading route (yes - I understand this could be a paper account, etc).

It's not possible I'm afraid.
The mentioned keywords only work in strategies, which cannot be used in Scanner.
