Other browsers (and email) compatible with MC.

I am having problems with internet explorer 8.0. I gather there are at least 3 other browsers that I can use instead. Is anyone using any other browsers and finding that they work well including working well with MC? I gather the firefox browser has email as well. My understanding it is likely better than NetScape email.

What operating system is Google Chrome running on? I am also thinking I need to reformat and reload to clean things up (it has been a while). So if anyone is using Explorer 8 and having no problems the operating system it is running on could be a factor I guess. If it is running on XP with no problems then this somewhat confirms my "need for a cleanup" theory.

Google Chrome runs on Windows XP, Vista, and 7.

Can I uninstall Internet explorer?
I know I have seen software that needs it to run in the past. I guess I could just take the plung and see what happens.

Google will take over your email, word, excel, powerpoint, chat, voice, phone, wave, map, phone number... plus a thousand others things that you have not thought of, and they have not invented yet.

You don't have to uninstall IE. It doesn't hurt to just leave it there.

IE 9 just came out today, testing it out now, seems quicker than IE8.

Took the plung! Uninstalling IE tells you what has been installed since. Not a problem to get rid of it. I have to check out the google email.

My problem with IE8 was it could not get 1/2 of the web pages on the first try (even ones that were not this forum).
